I’m Tamara—mom of three, accidental entrepreneur, and swim safety advocate.

Over the past eight years, I went from Toronto to San Jose for a tech career, got married, had my daughter Adeline, welcomed twins Nova and Lyla, and landed in Alpharetta, Georgia—just north of Atlanta. In 2018, everything shifted when my U.S. work visa was denied. Overnight, I went from MBA-driven professional to stay-at-home mom… and eventually, to small business owner.

I started this blog because I love to write, I needed a creative outlet in the chaos of early motherhood, and I wanted to connect with other moms navigating identity, purpose, and raising little humans. I’m also a retail buyer by trade, so you’ll find a lot of well-researched product picks, honest stories, and motherhood hacks here.

What I didn’t expect was for this journey to lead me to launch a swim school—but it did. And it’s the most meaningful work I’ve ever done.
